Getting Started with Podcasts

A podcast is an audio or video file that you can subscribe to online. The advantage to a podcast is that you don't need to remember to go back and get the newest information from your favorite online source. Once you subscribe to the podcast it will automatically show up in your reader. The readers are usually free or low cost. The majority of podcasts are available as audio files in MP3 format, syndicated through an RSS (XML) file. Other formats and other types of files, such as video, can also be podcasted. The content is downloaded to your desktop PC or mobile device. It's not streamed, so you can access the content when you want.

Samsung has released a software upgrade for the BlackJack, which is highly recommended to be installed. This update includes an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0 and numerous enhancements/corrections. The update may take up to 10 minutes to complete if the system is already set up. For detailed instructions on how to perform the update, see below.

The above is from the upgrade page for the Samsung Blackjack SGH-i607 I am currently downloading the upgrade as I type this It has a new Phone ROM version and a New PDA ROM version. Hurry get yours before it's gone...

WM6 Finally here????

Is it possible that AT&T and Samsung are really going to provide us the final release?

Missing Device Setup Page...

For the past four days when visiting the AT&T wireless support pages the device setup page is not available...

It just keeps getting better and better....

A member of blackjacjusers.com recieved this letter from AT&T, it just goes to show that even the office of the president of AT&T doesn't have a clue. Here is the link read it and have a good laugh.

News from the world of WM6...

On the AT&T corporate forums (http://forums.cingular.com/), when the topic of "Where is WM6" is raised, the conversations are locked and then moved to 'hidden' areas where only AT&T customers can view them, thus preventing prospective buyers from seeing the frustration that the company is generating (e.g., http://forums.cingular.com/cng/board/message?board.id=palm&thread.id=11262). Although the upgrades were publicly promised in March 2007, the controversy continues to grow.
